It gives me a great pleasure that Ku/ Weuda Central College is selected as a “Isuru School Project” according to the great concept of Honorable Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksha. 

As a result of the modern technology the internet facility has become prominent in the field of information technology. Nowadays the internet has become a multiple purposes instrument which can be used to engage in day to day activities. It is important to note that the internet can be used to gain information as well as spread out the information throughout the world without any barrier.
The internet is used in communication in every field through out the world.Most of the counties get the use of internet in every field for communication. But in Sri Lankan it is known that our usage of internet is in a low level. But it has spread out in every field.

Because of the internet the qualitative development of education has in creased. It is a pleasure, that under the "Isuru school development project ".Weuda Central College has been able to step towards the internet and start a website. As a result of that, we are able to give information of our school rapidly without any obstacle. Not only that the ‘Isurupaya' Education Department, provincial and Zonal Educational Department, the private institutes and the whole society   are
able to gain the news of our school.

I hope that our website will be creative & more accurate in future.
